Come join us for the Hack Day at Hamilton House this Sunday August 16th from 10.30 onwards.
An informal opportunity to come hack about with tech and the likes, if you've not been before this is for anyone from Artists, inventors, scientists, engineers etc..
This one is in lead up to the Staging Sound 2.0 event that will be held in Bath on the 29th August. We have a couple of projects in the process and the more the merrier to come join in or work on your own project.
The theme is Mobile Audio, so we are interested in making sounds and art, hardware, design and technology that surrounds this idea.
This is the beginning of a Dorkbot Bristol tour so it's only going to get better!
Come on get onboard it’s all just a bit of fun! why not get in a little homemade hacking and arduino in August eh?
On Sunday we are happy for people to bring friends, family, children.
We will have drinks and cakes on offer for a small price and the day itself is just donations with a suggested donation of £3.

The name Dorkbot often brings an inquisitive look to most peoples faces, quite a unique
name and yet one that is known worldwide by some. Amusingly, It’s sometimes hard to
explain what Dorkbot is! This is because it’s truly multi disciplinary, it encourages people to
attend from all sorts of backgrounds. Often those attending are artists, inventors,
scientists, engineers and here in Bristol we have many that attend who like to “push at”
technology.
Our meetings aim to be broad and inclusive whilst encouraging the curious, exciting and
most innovative of content. Less formal and more about keeping it real, we have ‘Show &
Tell’ sessions. These sessions offer a platform to encourage homegrown talent to
demonstrate new projects or even just share new ideas or hi-light something that might be
of interest to the group.
